Rules for Participants

1.      Qariah participants must not be in the state of uzursyarii.

2. All participants must be present during the balloting session to determine the order of recitation. If the participant cannot attend the balloting session, they have to inform the Program Manager as soon as possible.

3. The ballot result is final. Participants are not allowed at all to change their turn or the verses they are to recite after balloting is completed except for emergency cases with the permission from the organiser.

4. Participants who make changes after balloting is completed may have their participation revoked.

5. Participants must be present at the Competition venue at least 30 minutes before the Competition starts.

6. Each participant is to start reciting from the verses with any types of tarannumthat was specified within 8 minutes.

7. Participants must be appropriately dressed (auratis covered properly), in the national costume for Qariand in appropriate attire for Qariahduring the recital and at the Prize Giving Ceremony.

8. Participants must adhere to all instructions and rules set out by the organiser from time to time.
